In Joseph A. Schumpeter's concept of "creative destruction," "entrepreneurship" and "innovation" were inextricably linked. The terms, rather than the concepts, continue to shape the academic debates in the history of business and technology as well as in entrepreneurship and innovation research. This is the occasion for three Stuttgart experts to discuss disciplinary traditions and interdisciplinary perspectives of the interplay between entrepreneurship, (technical) innovations and economic development together and with an interested audience:
