Within the complementary qualification, the doctoral candidates complete one or two complementary disciplines in the field of engineering, information and communication technologies and economics, depending on the mode chosen. Completing the complementary disciplines is intended to give doctoral students an insight into those disciplines that were not part of their previous studies. It should enable them to look at their own research topic from a broader perspective and thus incorporate new aspects into their dissertation project.
The ENI offers all GSaME doctoral students the opportunity to complete their complementary qualification here. For this purpose, we will select suitable courses from our teaching portfolio. The prerequisite for successfully completing the complementary qualification at ENI is the attendance of a course, the writing of a ten to twelve page, individually tailored report, which relates the topic of the course and the respective dissertation. In addition, this report forms the basis for the professional interview.
