In Students2Startups, you’ll work as a management consultant for a startup. In small teams, you’ll tackle a specific task from a startup’s day-to-day business operations—for example, an internationalization strategy, a market entry strategy, or product pricing.
While working on the project, you’ll be in close contact with the startup to gain insights into the day-to-day work and processes of startups. At the end, you’ll present the results of your work in the form of a pitch.
In the process, you’ll learn to analyze organizational problems, develop solutions, and evaluate them in terms of their economic viability and feasibility. You’ll also explore market analyses, business models, and growth strategies.
You’ll also learn how to present and pitch yourself and your ideas convincingly. Furthermore, you’ll gain insight into the basic steps involved in starting a business and have the opportunity to explore startups as a potential career path.
Student2Startup takes place every winter semester. The format is open to students from all disciplines. It is a joint offering from TRACES, the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI) and the Wissensfabrik.
