Seminar: Basics of Entrepreneurship Research

Students learn about current research trends in order to develop their skills for their own research projects.

The English-language “Basics of entrepreneurship research: seminar”, will be offered every semester from the winter semester 2025/26.

In this seminar, students work on current research trends and topics in the field of entrepreneurship. The main objectives are to provide in-depth information on current research trends in international entrepreneurship research and to successfully set up their own research project. The topics covered include: 

  • Entrepreneurship Ecosystems
  • Veutre Emergence Processes
  • Entreprenuerial Stragegy
  • Entrepreneurial Action among others.

The focus of this semester is on working on the current state of research in a topic area of the student's choice. To this end, students learn how to carry out a comprehensive scientific literature search and analysis and how to apply the research results within the framework of their assignment.

The overall aim is for participants to develop an understanding of how a research project is structured and how it is carried out effectively.

The seminar ideally serves as preparation for carrying out a project or bachelor's thesis at the institute.

The seminar takes place on site at the Vaihingen campus: Wednesdays from 9.45 to 11.15 a.m. in Universitätsstraße 32 (room 32.122). Campus link.
