RISE | Modular workshop series
Have an impact with your research - make a change! On October 11th, we will kick-off the Research, Innovation, Science and Entrepreneurship (RISE) workshop series, presented by GRADUS in the career development program.
Intro
At this organizational session, our key partners from within and beyond the University of Stuttgart will introduce themselves to you and you will get insights into the project Elements4Founding. Our project team will tell you more about what is coming up next in the RISE workshop series and what’s in it for you – at last, we have prepared a special short module on the guiding question: how to be(come) an impactful researcher?
About the RISE workshop series
The RISE workshop series was developed in the Elements4Founding project at the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI) to support PhD students and postdoctoral researchers in their career development. By taking part, you will develop and take away information and skills that will be useful for all career paths, and which are especially necessary if you consider founding a company. All workshops will be guided by experts, and for some of the modules we have invited founders that will share their real-life experiences with you and be open for your questions.
Goals and Take-aways
Throughout the modular workshop sessions, you will learn, train and reflect in various formats that are tailored to you as PhDs and Postdocs. You can look forward to hands-on workshops, e.g., on team building, ideation and social entrepreneurship, strategic management and marketing to intellectual property law and protection!

About the Elements4Founding Project
Elements4Founding is a project of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI) at the University of Stuttgart. The objective of the project is to develop a holistic, integrated and sustainable approach to sensitize and qualify PhD students and post-docs for the topic of entrepreneurship over the project period between 2022 and 2024. Various formats such as workshops and training events are intended to involve the target group at the levels of awareness-raising, qualification and in a more advanced stage of planning.
