Together with the startups Iremia, represented by Maik Bucher and Lara Bruder, and RosiQ, represented by Ari Dernedde and Theresa Geber, the students experienced how innovative solutions can emerge from real everyday problems. They learned how to understand problems, develop personas, generate ideas, build prototypes, and pitch their own concepts.
It was especially inspiring to see the creativity, openness, and courage with which the students approached the workshops. Within a short time, initial observations turned into concrete ideas, first prototypes, and convincing short presentations.
This is exactly where Entrepreneurship Education comes in: students learn to question problems critically, develop creative solutions in teams, and take their own ideas seriously.
STEP is intentionally designed to be accessible and hands-on. The project shows students that their own observations from everyday life can be the starting point for new solutions. By involving startups from Baden-Württemberg, students also gain insights into modern career paths, future technologies, and real startup journeys.
