Corporate strategy is particularly important for start-ups. Against this background, the module deals with all relevant issues.

The two courses “Entrepreneurial Strategy” and “Applied Entrepreneurial Strategy” of the first module are offered every winter semester.

They learn to recognize strategic decisions, evaluate them critically and implement them in a targeted manner. The aim is to apply strategic thinking specifically to entrepreneurial situations and innovation-based start-up projects.

The content focuses on central questions of the strategic orientation of start-ups and the ability to analyze strategic options in the field of tension between market, technology, organization and competition. The focus is on theoretical principles as well as practical methods and tools, which are deepened in group exercises and case studies.
