Successful finale of the Entrepreneurship lecture series at the University of Stuttgart

February 1, 2024

The lecture series consisted of 14 events in total, with around 40 invited speakers.

On Wednesday, January 31, the lecture series Entrepreneurship came to a successful conclusion with Dr. Ulf Zillig, Head of Corporate Research, Sustainability & RD Functions at Mercedes-Benz AG. He spoke about the topics of sustainability and innovation in the automotive industry, initiating an exciting discussion with lively participation.

The spin-off "Cyclize" from the University of Stuttgart, which was funded by an EXIST research transfer, presented itself as a part of the start-up scene. The team took the opportunity to present its innovative approach to plasma recycling. The event attracted numerous participants and provided an inspiring platform for the exchange of ideas.

This year, the lecture series Entrepreneurship was able to count on the support of numerous industry and expert speakers who provided the students with interesting insights. Particularly impressive were the insights into some spin-offs from the University of Stuttgart, which were represented by Matthias Geertsema from WMT GmbH, Paul Eichinger from Personomic, Sebastian Stöcklmeier from Synthavo, Nils Fahrbach from Printoptics, Rafael Abel from Ventus Technologies GmbH, Stephan Dengler from chargeIQ, Ines Würth from enviConnect, Sebastian Loeffler from Nexobility GmbH, Claudiu Mortan from Perosol, Florian Lerch from Semanux, Florian Will from Hybird and Johannes Ritter from Inferno.

The closing event was a great opportunity for networking and exchanging experiences. Together we created a memorable conclusion for this year's lecture series Entrepreneurship at the University of Stuttgart.
