"Makers of Tomorrow" aims to encourage students to start their own businesses. We at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research are very happy to be part of it, as the project was launched by the Federal Chancellery under the patronage of Chancellor Angela Merkel and is currently experiencing great resonance. While the online course has already been available since 01.11.2021 (here's the info), the second part of the project has now also started: the lecture series!
It accompanies the individual topics of the online course and underlines their relevance once again. Guests from science and industry will discuss the state of research, the hurdles on the way to a startup, but also personal stories from the life of a startup on a total of 12 dates. The lecture series will take place in a hybrid format at different universities between 11.11 and 17.02. and is open to all interested persons. An overview can be found here: https://makers-of-tomorrow.de/ringvorlesungen/.
The University of Stuttgart, represented by ENI, will hold its lecture series on 10.02.2022. We will shed light on the scaling phase of startups and also get to know a founder who has been extremely successful in this phase with his startup. We will let you know more about this in due time.
Here you can find a nice report from the ARD on the start of the lecture series.
