February 15, 2022

The startup Synthavo of the University of Stuttgart won the first place at the Demo Day of the KI Garage Network Accelerator on 28.01.22.

The KI Garage Network Accelerator came to an end on 28.01.2022 with the Demo Day. As part of the 4-month program of the "KI Garage", 12 startups from Baden-Württemberg that specialize in the use of artificial intelligence received weekly coaching sessions on the topics of business development and development of AI products. In the process, the startup Synthavo was able to win the first place. In addition to 1000 € prize money, the team won the participation in the follow-up program of the KI Garage on the topic of market entry and strategy. Second and third place went to the startup Mentalport from Mannheim and Faibrics with students from Albstadt-Sigmaringen University.

The startup Synthavo founded by Sebastian Stöcklmeier, Benedict Lindner and Alexander Ilg aims to accelerate after-sales processes of machine manufacturers with the help of AI-supported spare parts recognition. The team has been funded by an EXIST startup grant since fall 2021 and is currently based in the incubator of the Technologie-Transfer-Initiative GmbH at the University of Stuttgart.
