Falling Walls Lab Baden-Württemberg

June 5, 2023

Calling all visionaries and explorers!

Get ready to experience the brilliant ideas of young minds when Falling Walls Lab Baden-Württemberg presents its highly anticipated pitch competition and award ceremony. On June 17 from 3:40 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at KIT Campus North in Karlsruhe, Germany, an exciting event that combines innovation, inspiration, and celebration will take place.

"Breaking the Walls of..." - aspiring scientists* and innovators will have the chance at the Falling Walls Lab Baden-Württemberg to present their innovative ideas in three-minute pitches that can transform the future. Following the motto of the Falling Walls Foundation, the walls between science, disciplines, business and society will be broken down to confront contemporary issues - with groundbreaking research and revolutionary solutions.

The Falling Walls Lab Baden-Württemberg is an association of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), HeiKa, the University of Heidelberg, Wissensfabrik e. V. and the University of Stuttgart. As part of the international competition, the winners of the labs will have the chance to compete in the finals at the Falling Walls Science Summit in November.

But that's not all: The event coincides with the Open Day on the KIT campus and offers a unique opportunity to all interested parties to explore the dynamic world of KIT and to get in touch with leading researchers, students, and experts from industry.

Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere, discover state-of-the-art facilities, and broaden your horizons. Don't miss this exceptional opportunity where innovation meets celebration. Mark your calendar for June 17, and be part of the future that will be defined by this drive. See you at the Falling Walls Lab Baden-Württemberg Pitch Competition and Awards Ceremony at KIT Campus North in Karlsruhe!
