AWAKE Demo Night was a complete success

January 26, 2024

Teams of students present their start-up ideas during the Demo Night of the ENI's AWAKE program.

Our AWAKE program celebrated its grand finale at the Demo Night on 24 January. After 10 weeks, 8 teams of students from all disciplines presented their innovative startup ideas, for which they were able to use all the knowledge they had gained from the crash course on entrepreneurship. From lifestyle apps to smart solutions for private e-charging stations and a solution for guaranteed plagiarism avoidance, everything was included. Our expert jury led by Gertrud-Edith Schmitt (TTI GmbH), Sebastian Dahlheimer (Helsinki Systems) and Björn Brenner (Gründermotor) gave feedback and helpful tips for the next steps. The audience award ultimately went to the AquAware team, which tests drinking water for pollutants. After the impressive presentations by the start-ups, the evening seamlessly transitioned into a cozy get-together. Here we were able to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy the dynamic start-up culture in the open space.

This makes learning fun, because there were credit points on top for all participants! 🎓🥂

A big thank you to everyone involved for making the AWAKE program and the final event so exciting!

Would you like to participate next semester? Then you can find our courses here.

We are now looking forward to seeing how these teams perform in the ASAP finale. Everyone can still apply with their idea until January 29 to win great prizes and lots of visibility on Valentine's Day on February 14.
