The INNO Festival BW was a great success

July 18, 2023

What a festival! All the threads of the Baden-Württemberg start-up network came together at the INNO Festival BW on June 29. This year, too, we were able to observe exciting and inspiring conversations and the making of many new contacts. We are very happy about that!

In the couch discussion, moderated by Franziska Glaser, Lucie Prinz, Jivka Ovtcharova (Head of the Institute for Information Management in Engineering, KIT) and Ceren Akbaba (Head of Key Account at CyberForum e.V.) agreed: Diversity must be seen as an opportunity. It has long been proven that diverse teams consisting of people with different backgrounds do more efficient, creative and innovative work.

On the "Innovation Track", the two Formula Student teams KA-RaceIng and mu-zero Hyperloop presented themselves with their impressive racing cars and explained their technical masterpieces in detail to the numerous interested guests.

We are delighted that diversity was not only writ large in the content of the inputs this evening, but that the musical accompaniment was also colourful and dazzling. We had the pleasure to welcome the queer power pop artist LEOPOLD and the band unplugged.earth and were very excited about their rousing music!

Congratulations to Femfeel, who were chosen by the audience and the jury consisting of Bettina Merlin (Professor of Entrepreneurship and International Business at HHN), Lena Rübelmann (Head of Female Entrepreneurship at Startup Mannheim), Cornelius Baral (Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg) and Jonas Jungbauer (Advisor at the Ministry of Economic Affairs Baden-Württemberg) as the winners of the pitch contest "Female Start Aperitivo" and were thus able to secure 500 euros and a ticket to Hamburg for the Female Start Aperitivo Finale!
