The event „Market Opportunity Identification“ took place as part of the startup series of the Excellence Cluster in cooperation with the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science. Together they established this series, which involves talks by startups as well as lectures/workshops on different topics of founding your own company. In this session, that took place on the 6th of October 2021 over WebEx researchers pitched their research. Using this pitch as a basis, multiple brainstorming sessions both individually and in a team were performed led by Marcel Werle (Startup coach) and Philipp Haessler (Technology Scout). First, the functions of the research results were identified and afterwards applications and the corresponding stakeholder groups were identified. Overall, the first workshop of this kind was very successful and both sides hope to offer more workshops also for other research groups at the University of Stuttgart.
