The ENI team had the opportunity to participate virtually in the University of Bologna conference on "Boosting entrepreneurial skills and mindsets: theories, methods and impact" on May 19 and 20. Entrepreneurship Education (EE) is a growing field of research aiming to raise awareness of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial approaches among students and early stage researchers. However, existing approaches focus on the target group of students and there are hardly any validated approaches that explicitly address doctoral students and post-docs. Therefore, only a fraction of the innovation potential of university research is transferred to business and society. Marcel Werle from the ENI team presented the Elements4Founding project, which aims to sensitise and qualify doctoral students and post-docs for the topic of entrepreneurship. The accompanying research for the project is intended to provide a best-practice approach for EE programmes at universities for female doctoral students and post-docs.
