Sociocracy offers an interesting “form of governance” and a decision-making framework for self-organized teams, groups without leadership or projects with various stakeholders. It entails that decisions are made collectively, by consensus.
Like the well-known terms “democracy” or “hierarchy”, the word for “sociocracy” comes from the Greek. It means “rule of friends”.
