Sandro Battisti

Dr. Sandro Battisti holds a PhD in Innovation Management from the Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy, and an MBA and degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Brazil. He is currently a Research Fellow at the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. He has more than twenty years of experience in research and innovation management across Italy, Germany, Finland, France, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Brazil. He has worked with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and has extensive experience in technology transfer and startup creation, including experience in Silicon Valley, USA. His research interests focus on artificial intelligence, digital platforms, technological innovation, technology entrepreneurship, and social entrepreneurship. His research has been published in leading journals such as IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, and Journal of Social Entrepreneurship. He has served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems and is currently an Associate Editor for IEEE Engineering Management Review.
