SUMMARY:Workshop: Innovate with Impact - Matching Problems and Solutions (RISE)
DESCRIPTION:For many researchers, the drive to create impact goes beyond economic interests - we want to make a difference. But what does it truly mean to have an impact? How can innovations from research and science address the 'grand challenges' of our time? And how can we find a balance between economic viability and societal contribution? This workshop will enhance your understanding of the impact potential of your ideas and demonstrate that social enterprises can indeed be sustainable.\nWorkshop Focus:\n\nExploring the concept of creating impact beyond economic gain\nUnderstanding how scientific and research innovations can address major global challenges\nLearning about the viability of social businesses and how they can be successfully implemented\n\nObjectives:\n\nGain insights into assessing the impact potential of your projects\nLearn strategies for balancing economic and societal goals in your innovations\nExplore examples of successful social enterprises\n\nThis workshop is an integral part of the RISE series - a joint initiative by Elements4Founding, supported by the Vector Foundation, and QCLUB, funded by the BMBF as part of the QSENS cluster for future, at the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI). We warmly invite PhD students and Postdocs from all disciplines to participate.
