DESCRIPTION:What impact would you like to create with your research? By looking at the golden circle framework, this workshop focuses on the WHY behind your work. With a view to the Sustainable Development Goals you will think about the potential areas of impact you can create with your own research.Young Entrepreneurs in Science is an interactive workshop programme for PhDs and postdocs to help you ignite your entrepreneurial spirit! Together with your peers, you will learn methods and skills to realise your innovative potential.\nAdmission is free and no previous knowledge is required.\nWorkshop Goal\n\nThe golden circle & the WHY behind your research\nIntroduction to the concept of impact & the SDGs\nThe potential areas of impact of your research\n\n \nThe RISE workshop series was developed as part of the Elements4Founding project at the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI) to support PhD students and postdocs in their career development. RISE provides knowledge and skills that are useful for all career paths, and especially if you are considering starting a business or leading a team. Over the course of 2024, the Elements4Founding project will offer various modules covering creativity methods, business model development, pitch training and different ways to expand and strengthen your network in the research and innovation community.\nThe workshop is organized by the Elements4Founding project and Young Entrepreneurs in Science.\n \nAbout the project Elements4Founding:\nElements4Founding is a project of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI) at the University of Stuttgart. The objective of the project is to develop a holistic, integrated and sustainable approach to sensitize and qualify PhD students and post-docs for the topic of entrepreneurship over the project period between 2022 and 2024.
