Technology, Engineering, and Innovation Management Communities as Enablers for Social-Ecological Transitions

28th IEEE ICE/ITMC & 31st IAMOT Conference: First joint conference of the IEEE ICE/ITMC community with the IAMOT association

From June 19-23, 2022, the technology and innovation management community met in beautiful Nancy in France. After two years of pandemic setups, everybody was looking forward to meeting in person again.

All days were very well planned with sessions on key topics in the field, such as R&D, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Corporate Venturing & Digital Entrepreneurship, Intrapreneurship strategy and processes, Technology Foresight and Forecasting and many more. As the participants came from very different fields, the interdisciplinary nature of the event was amazing, as well as the international coverage.

The Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science was involved with a paper presentation (by Laura Rehberg), session contributions (by Ferran Giones and Christina Ungerer), a keynote presentation (by Alexander Brem) and a participation at the Meet-the-Editor session (also by Alexander Brem).

Next to the conference, it was a highlight to learn more about the Fab Living Lab of the University of Lorraine. Hopefully, the future in this field is open source and open access, so that the whole world can benefit from best practice solutions.
