Presentation at the Graduate School of Business (GSB) Research Workshop Series of the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)

USM was the second university in Malaysia established in 1969, the GSB followed in 1998. In this format, researchers from all over the world are invited.

"Technological innovation in pandemic times  - Digitization from everyday life to corporate management" – this was the title of a webinar where Alexander Brem was presenting, moderated by Christopher Richardson from USM. The presentation was about the influence of technological innovation in the covid pandemic and how technological developments influence humanity. The focus was on two areas, namely technologies for life-saving and health-improving, and technologies for better living in a private and professional setup. The discussion was primarily on the role of startups and small and medium-sized companies and the different parts of business-to-business and business-to-consumer business models. Other topics were cultural differences in response to the pandemic and data security-related issues.
