Several Open Positions for Student Assistants at ENI

The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI) has four open positions for Student Assistants in a dynamic and highly engaged team. Please find further details below.

We are seeking motivated and skilled students (currently enrolled) to join our team as part-time Student Assistants (SA). As a Student Assistant, you are an all-rounder, on the one hand supporting your team members in different research, teaching, and transfer projects. On the other hand, you will have the chance to independently work on, conceptualize, and develop topics that help us move forward.

 

Position 1: SA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation

We offer a unique opportunity to contribute to an interdisciplinary workspace researching innovation and entrepreneurship.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Support and assist in interdisciplinary research and teaching activities
  • Collaborate with a variety of team members in different projects
  • Support in the development of content and materials, such as documents and presentations in Word, Powerpoint etc.
  • Support the coordination of meetings, internal and external events, and deadlines.

 

Position 2: SA for ICM Accelerator Program

We are seeking a curious and skilled HIWI to further our evaluation efforts on the ICM Accelerator program.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Continuing the evaluation efforts of the ICM Early Ride Program
  • Support the ongoing analysis of qualitative data from the program
  • Build on the existing evaluation design and a pre-established coding framework
  • Active participation in key events of the ICM Early Ride Program, such as the kick-off in Karlsruhe and the Demo Day in Stuttgart

 

Position 3: SA for Research Project

We are seeking a motivated SA to support the exciting work on our research project “Ungendered Values”.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Updating and cleaning metadata of bibliographic references in Mendeley and Zotero
  • Review of some English-language interviews
  • Internet research for posts from start-up coaches (including on LinkedIn)
  • Research training programs for start-up coaches

Applicants for this position must have very good proficiency in both German and English.

 

Position 4: SA for Quantitative and Panel Research

We are currently seeking a curious and skilled HIWI to aid us in conducting quantitative research and the establishment and evaluation of a panel survey.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop new measurement scales and indices at the forefront of an under-studied aspect of founding: nascent entrepreneurship
  • Work in cooperation with other lab members to review existing literature on nascent entrepreneurship
  • Generate as well as operationalize measurement dimensions for nascent startup success and societal impact

Applicants for this position should be well versed in quantitative research methods.
