Hi, I'm Saymon Gattnar! I study aerospace engineering at the University of Stuttgart and am the founder and developer of the personal productivity app PeakCorteX

As a child, I was already fascinated by the stories of great personalities, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin, David Livingstone, Marie Curie or Nikola Tesla. I was curious to learn how a world explorer plans his journey into the unknown, how an inventor structures his day efficiently, and what strategies might underlie the success of an endeavor. I wanted to know what approach successful people take: How do they motivate themselves on a daily basis? How do they maintain their determination, their stamina, despite oodles of obstacles and not infrequently numerous failures?

Tools of highly effective people

Over time, the history books made way for books on self-management, productivity, and the art of thinking and executing. I devoured dozens of works, lectures and studies on the topic and began using many tools, such as bullet journals, sticky notes, mindmaps and productivity apps in my daily life. I wanted to summarize the essence of all the findings in a simple, clear and highly productive system. This is how the idea for PeakCorteX was born. An app that combines the most important proven principles of self-management and effectiveness in one tool.

Since November 2020, my app is available in a preliminary basic version in the Appstore. I am very pleased that there are already enthusiastic users in 38 countries around the world.

Further development at ENI

The "Entrepreneurs in Residence" program is a fantastic offer that provides fabulous support to a student who is also creating a startup. I am very excited to be an Entrepreneur in Residence and hope to inspire other students to take the startup adventure. For my time as a resident, I plan to bring the full version of my PeakCorteX app to market and then start marketing it globally with the support of ENI; especially I want to gain a foothold in the Asian market.
