During three inspiring days at Sant’Anna in Pisa, the EINST4INE team has reviewed the impressive progress of the early-stage researchers, including recent articles by ENI researchers Finn Tryggvason and Ferran Giones on the role of path dependence in slowing down the reaction to innovation shocks, and Petra Nylund, Alexander Brem, Parul Chaudhary and Enel’s Federico D’Aberti on interecosystemic innovation as a crisis response.
Among the many industry insights, Clemens Ackermann explained the challenges of providing Arena2036 companies with enabling technologies that they can absorb, and Darya Majidi highlighted the absence of standards as a barrier to the digitalization of healthcare.
The conference also included engaging group exercises, such as that on accelerated convergence of technologies by Paavo Ritala, Valentina Cucino and Guilio Ferrigno, as well as roundtable discussions on open innovation by Agniezska Radziwon, Alberto Di Minin, Justyna Dabrowska, and Petra Nylund.
