One stage, three minutes, one idea to solve global challenges: The Falling Walls Lab is about young scientists presenting their innovative ideas from science to an interdisciplinary jury of experts to qualify as the winner for the Falling Walls Lab final at the international Science Summit in Berlin (November 7-9). For the perfect pitch, all participants will receive presentation training in advance.

At the annual Falling Walls Science Summit in Berlin, scientists from all over the world compete for the title of “Science Breakthrough of the Year” and get the chance to network with international leaders from science, business, politics, and culture. Participation in the Lab not only means a stage for your idea, but also the opportunity to exchange ideas with other young scientists and experts from all disciplines.

The event will take place on July 10, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., at the ARENA2036 research campus(Pfaffenwaldring 19, 70569 Stuttgart). After the main program and the award ceremony, there will be dinner and the opportunity for further networking on-site. The Lab Baden-Württemberg is organized by the University of Stuttgart at the Elements4Founding project (funded by the Vector Foundation) within the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Science (ENI), the Wissensfabrik e. V., the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), HEiKA, and the Universities of Heidelberg and Constance.
