The abbreviation BANI describes volatile environmental influences to which an organization should react. BANI describes how the world around us can be perceived:

- anxious
- nonlinear
- incomprehensible
The term was coined by Jamais Cascio, an American futurologist, in 2020. The best way to deal with multidimensional uncertainties is to take an agile approach and regularly review actions.
